PRODUCT DETAILS

American stoneware was the most popular dishware of the 19th century in the United States. Produced mostly by potters on the east coast, blue and white spongeware was created for utilitiarian use and remains in good condition today due to it's durablity. 

The color of antique spongewware was made by applying the cobalt oxide to the pottery piece with a sponge or rag. Sponges were cut into various sizes and stamped all over a piece or sponged border with a hand-painted central design.

Returns Policy

Returns for unused items in new condition will be accepted within 30 days of purchase. International orders, fine art, vintage and custom pieces are considered final sale and ineligible for return. All custom, made to order items or those shipped directly from vendors, suppliers or workrooms are also ineligible for return, cancellation or exchange.

Shipping

We offer flat rate ground domestic shipping for all non- furniture items. For ground shipments, please allow 3 - 7 days for arrival. If you would like expedited shipping, please email us at shop@noelpittman.com and we will work with you to meet your delivery deadline.

We also offer in store pick up and same day delivery to limited zip codes in Dallas.
